Is it just me or does anyone else see the humor in this. . . The President said last night that his health care plan would be partially paid for by cutting $500 million in "waste and fraud" in the government run Medicare program.
Whoa there Mr. O. Health care reform aside, if you know that there is waste and fraud, why are you not fixing that problem separately? Why are you only willing to fix it if you get health care reform? Do you really expect us to believe that the government is going be able to run national health care better than they have run Medicare with all of its waste and fraud?

I never thought about it this way but you are right.
I know how we can save a lot of money. Get rid of the czars Obama has in the administration and stop giving money to organizations like ACORN.
I know what if anything can really be done about Obama's czars even if legislation was enacted now. It probably wouldn't take effect until the next president.
Dave and Mark: Several presidents had czars. But, never anything like this. Most presidents had 1-5 not 36 or 44 (depends on whose number you believe). I think that there should be some sort of regulation regarding czars. These people wield a lot of power and have a large amount of our money at their disposal with no accounting.
